CHILDREN hope the results of two classes at school this week will be music to the ears.
Youngsters at the Corpus Christi RC Primary School, Middlesbrough, are creating a piece of music with the help of composer Barry Russell.
Mr Russell is leading the pupils in two creative workshops. The one-off piece will be performed minutes before a concert by Northern Sinfonia, at Middlesbrough Town Hall tomorrow.
Denise Heanes, arts development officer with Middlesbrough Council, said: "This is a unique and very special opportunity for them to work and perform with the best.
"Who knows, it may even inspire them to aim for musical careers themselves."
