SOCCER legend Jack Charlton is to be the guest speaker at a sportsman's dinner being held in the North-East.
The former Newcastle United and Republic of Ireland manager will be at the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington, on Friday, February 28.
He will be speaking at the event, organised by Darlington Round Table, to raise money for the town's St Teresa's Hospice and the Children's Wishes charity.
Comedian Gary Skyner will also be entertaining and there will be an auction of sporting items, including a football signed by England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson.
Tickets, costing £30 each, are available from St Teresa's Hospice on (01325) 254321.
The event starts at 7pm.
