THE following cases were heard by Darlington magistrates yesterday:

CHARGE DENIED: Jon McGuinness, 37, of Norton Crescent, Sadberge, denied causing actual bodily harm on October 11 and using threatening behaviour on December 29 last year.

The case was adjourned until March 18.

YOUTH ACCUSED: A 16-year-old youth from Darlington, charged with using threatening behaviour, will appear at Darlington Youth Court on Friday, after the case was transferred by magistrates.

CASE ADJOURNED: The case against Luke Hopkinson, 20, of Bellburn Lane, Darlington. was adjourned until March 4.

He is charged with causing grievous bodily harm on January 25.

THEFT CHARGE: Daniel Pindar, 22, of Headlam Road, Darlington, will appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on February 17 after Darlington magistrates adjourned his case.

He is charged with attempting to steal a woman's handbag.

GUILTY PLEA: Kevin Stewart-Wyke, 40, of Silver Lonnen, Newcastle, admitted using a vehicle without insurance on October 24 in Spennymoor.

He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 costs.

REVIEW DATE: Stephen John Dickens, 21, of Regents Court, Darlington, will appear before magistrates on March 18 at 3pm for a pre-trial review.

He denies using threatening behaviour on February 1.

VIOLENCE DENIED: Gordon Brown, 42, of Easson Road, Darlington, has denied making a threat to kill Margaret Brown in January.

He also denied charges of using threatening behaviour and assault. The case was adjourned until March 18.
