CHILDREN are being offered the chance to make friends, surf the Internet, and take part in activities at a new club.
The free club, for youngsters aged five to 13, opens at Wingate Library, in Front Street, tomorrow.
It will run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm each Thursday, and at the first session, children will be entertained by storyteller Martin Manasse, before learning how to make a magic carpet.
The club is being funded by Easington District Council, the Local Network Fund, Investing in Children, Durham County Council, Northern Arts, and the Wingate and Station Town Family Centre.
To join, call Karen, on (01429) 835 241, or call in at the library.
