A SCHOOL hall was given a facelift thanks to a donation from a charitable trust.
Skerne Park Infants' school, Parkside, Darlington, received £200 from the Abbey National Charitable Trust Ltd.
The money will be used to replace worn-out curtains in the school hall.
Deputy head teacher Yvonne Carson said: "The curtains have been up since year dot.
"We need something to cheer the hall up and are so glad we were granted the money."
