ONE of Britain's best-known mediums is to visit the region.
Stephen Holbrook, who predicted the rise to stardom of former cruise ship singer Jane MacDonald, will visit Durham Assembly Rooms on Thursday, March 13, and Northallerton Forum, North Yorkshire, on Thursday, April 24.
Holbrook, a former hairdresser from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, describes himself as a "telephone exchange between this world and the next", and one of his most famous predictions involved telling MacDonald she would go on a cruise with a television crew and eventually have her own television show.
Doors open at the Durham City venue at 7pm. Seats, which cost £8, must be reserved in advanced, by ringing (01924) 898688. .
