CHILDREN can take part in free skating or swimming sessions in Guisborough during next week's half-term holiday.
Equipment for skateboarders and inline-skaters at King George V playing fields will be available from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Thursday.
Alternatively, children aged between eight and 16 can go swimming at the nearby pool. Booking is essential and transport is available from Lingdale, Marske, Carlin How and Brotton.
The sessions have been organised by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's play development workers, in partnership with the West Redcar Single Regeneration Budget's Youth Inclusion Project, Safe in Tees Valley and the Redcar and Cleveland Partnership.
For information about the skating sessions, call (01642) 444311 or 494499. For details of the swimming sessions, call (01642) 771251.
