A RESTAURANT boss whose North-East businesses failed with debts of more than £203,000 has been disqualified from acting as a company director for three years.
Dean Anthony Wilson, 28, of Hazelwood Avenue, Jesmond, appeared at Newcastle County Court, over his position as director of DJE Limited, the firm behind Gershwins restaurant, in Dean Street, Newcastle.
The company was wound up by the court in August 2001, with an estimated £203,008 owed to its creditors.
Matters of unfit conduct found by the court were that Wilson failed to pay the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise £133,492, while paying other creditors.
