Chester-le-Street Theatre Group is performing the UK amateur premier of Michael Parker's comedy Lone Star Love Potion in the community centre on Newcastle Bank, Chester-le-Street from Tuesday, February 11 to Saturday, February 15, at 7.15pm.
The play begins with a will reading in which a ranch in Texas has been left to the butler, to the dismay of the rest of the family. Instructions are also left about a love potion concocted by the deceased relative, which the family decide to try on the butler.
