Bishop Auckland are going ahead with their plans for an EGM of shareholders next month. The possibility of sharing the proposed new ground at Tindale Crescent with Shildon surfaced last weekend when Bishops called an EGM for March 9, but Shildon have denied any interest.

Chairman Terry Jackson will instead talk about the background of the proposal, as well as discussing the wrangle with the cricket club.

Meanwhile, Brian Honour's team go to Stocksbridge tomorrow; the two clubs below them - Trafford and Eastwood Town - will also meet. Spennymoor United manager Jamie Pollock admits his side is under pressure to reach the play-offs.

Moors lost 2-0 at home to fellow promotion chasers Radcliffe Boro' on Tuesday to leave them five points below the play-offs.

"We're going to be under the cosh because we have a lot of games to play," said Pollock. "But there were plenty of positives from Tuesday's game.

"The Radcliffe assistant manager told me that we were the best team that they have played against this season."

Moors have their toughest away game of the season to date tomorrow, at leaders Alfreton.

Blyth Spartans' players might have to pay a fine from the FA out of their own pockets for their poor discipline.

The club is facing a £10,000 fine for their poor disciplinary record and they could pass the punishment on to the players. They have had 11 players dismissed this season and striker Glen Robson starts a four-match ban this weekend.

Paul Baker's side thought they'd grabbed a point against Whitby with a late fightback on Tuesday to come back to 2-2, but Graeme Williams scored in the last minute.
