VOTERS are being urged to make sure they are registered for May's elections.
Sunderland City Council is sending letters to every household in the city containing the names of people listed on the register of electors as living at the address.
People who have been left off the register can contact the council to ensure their name is included.
People left off the register have until Tuesday, March 11, to provide their details to the council's elections office, on 0191-553 1142 or 0191-553 1143.
