MEMBERS of the Slimming World class in Clifton Community Centre, Darlington, are embarking on a six-week sponsored slimathon to raise money for the NSPCC, and are inviting others to take part.
Kath Davies, who runs the class, said: "The more people who take part in Slimathon, the more money we can raise for the NSPCC. You don't have to want to lose loads of weight. Every little bit will help."
Anyone who wants to lose weight and raise funds can attend the class on Thursdays, at 6.30pm, to collect a sponsorship form and have a free weigh-in. For details call (01325) 257264.
