AN update on a rural strategy for east Cleveland will be delivered by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council at Loftus Town Hall, on Tuesday, February 25, at 6.30pm.
The strategy has taken account of views expressed at a public meeting last month, as well as the outcome of a consultation with young people, farmers and members of the business community.
The council's rural programmes officer, Beth Carss, said: "The response so far has been fantastic. We heard very strong messages about young people. The next stage is to plan what objectives we can work towards within each theme and the actions that will help us achieve this.
"Before we can do this we need to get the views of local people on the themes and priorities that have been identified."
