STOCKTON'S Smart Awards for young people will be hosted by TFM Radio DJ Anna B.

The awards evening will be held at the Baptist Tabernacle, in Stockton, on Friday, March 21. The Stockton Mayor's Achievement Recognition Trophy awards (Smart) were set up last year to recognise the good things achieved by young people across the borough. Nomination forms are available from libraries and schools and from Stockton borough council's youth service. Anyone can nominate a person aged 19 or under who has done something that deserves recognition. The nominations will be considered by a panel of young judges, who have been drawn from schools across the borough, at the end of this month. For details, call Stockton youth service on (01642) 393482.
