A dispute which led a team of North Yorkshire FA Cup heroes to resign has been settled.
Harrogate Railway's first teamers, who created history by reaching the second round of the cup, losing 3-1 at home to Bristol City in December, were back in action for a Northern Counties East League clash at Hallam earlier this week.
Peace talks between Railway officials and players' representatives lasted more than three hours before a settlement was reached late on Tuesday.
Club officials met Railway manager Paul Marshall, who along with his assistant Mick Margis and coach Mark Smitheringale, had joined the first team players in resigning.
On Saturday the club had to field its reserve side against Eccleshill United in a league match, winning 4-3 in the dying minutes with a 45-yard wonder goal from the centre circle.
