A man involved in a car crash on Monday at Killerby, near Darlington, remains critically ill in the town's Memorial Hospital.
The 27-year-old, who lives in Darlington, suffered severe head and chest injuries and multiple leg fractures when the BMW he was driving left the road and hit a stone wall.
