TOURISM operators from across North Yorkshire will be swapping information in Hambleton next week.

They will gather at Thirsk Racecourse on March 6 for the annual Hambleton Tourist Literature Exchange day.

Almost fifty attraction operators will distribute information to other tour- ism providers - accommodation operators, restaurants, pubs, libraries and tourist information centres.

"This day is the first big tourism push of the season where we can get bulk supplies of literature passed round all the providers," said tourism manager David Shields.

"We hope as many people as possible - from all over the county - will attend to collect information."

The event takes place from 10am until 1pm in Grimthorpe Hall, Thirsk Racecourse.
