A NORTH Yorkshire bride and groom received an extra present when they chose Harrogate's Sun Pavilion for their wedding at the weekend.
Sally Lawrence and Tim Legge were the 100th couple to have their reception in the building and the borough council wanted them to have something to remember it by.
They were presented with an original watercolour of the pavilion by artist Shirley Vine, as well as vouchers for the nearby Turkish baths and health spa, to help alleviate the stress of preparing for their big day.
The couple took their wedding vows in Ripon Cathedral because Mr Legge serves in the city with 38 Engineer Regiment.
