Shildon ABC secured three places in GB semi-finals of the schools championship. Davy Watson, winner two years ago, will be representing SABC after beating two times champion John Bowman.
Aaron Fletcher, schools finalist, will also be representing Shildon, looking to avenge his defeat two years ago. John Thomas Turner, who also boxed to the semi-finals two seasons ago for Bishop Auckland, now represents Shildon and is also looking to lift the title.
John Heighington, head coach, said: "The three are more than capable of winning titles adding to the list of over 85 national finalists which Shildon have produced in the last 30 years.
