A WEEK of events aimed at the older generation is being held in Middlesbrough.
The week has been organised by Middlesbrough Older Persons' Partnership Board and the Retired Senior Volunteers Programme (RSVP), with the help of Middlesbrough Council, the University of Teesside, Middlesbrough's community councils and Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust.
The events run from Monday to Friday, next week and include a Get Active Roadshow, a conference on Better Government for Older People, and archive film footage from the University of Teesside.
There will also be a limited number of half-price tickets for the over 50s for the Hague Philharmonic Orchestra Performance at Middlesbrough Town Hall next Wednesday. Contact (01642) 729138 or (01642) 729252 for details.
