SHOPPERS were taken back half a century when they called at Naafi Financial, in Catterick Garrison, yesterday.
Darlington Building Society has launched an agency at the Shute Road premises, and to mark the event employed the services of Garrison Radio presenter Chris Marsden for an open day between 10am and 3pm.
A 1950s theme was chosen to reflect the fact that interest rates are the lowest they have been for 50 years.
