A TEAM of young gymnasts from Thornaby are celebrating after being given new kit.
Members of the Robert Atkinson Gymnastics Club are now sporting new outfits thanks to gas pipeline company Transco.
The team of 30 youngsters, aged from seven to 20, all needed new tracksuits to take part in competitions around the region, so the company supplied them with red and blue tracksuits carrying the club name.
The club is sending five members to this month's National Development Sports Acrobatic Finals.
Coach Denis Robinson said: "They really enjoy taking part and are very committed.
"We rely heavily on donations to help us take part in competitions as it can very costly for parents."
Transco's Denise Goodwin said: "We wish the children every success."
