PLACES on a map reading course are still available in Hartlepool.
The course will be held over three sessions - tomorrow, next Saturday and March 30 - and is organised by staff at Summerhill, a 100-acre countryside site near the town.
It costs £7 per person, the minimum age is 16 and anyone who is interested is asked to call (01429) 284584.
The first two sessions will be held at Summerhill and will involve basic instruction in the theory of map reading, including grid references and use of a compass.
By the third session, people will get a chance to put everything they have learned into practice on local footpaths.
