DISCO FUN: A disco for people with learning difficulties, but with everybody being made welcome, will be held from 7pm to 11pm next Saturday at Springwell Village Hall. The bar will be open from 7.30pm, and the £2 tickets include a pie and peas supper.
ADVENTURE TRIP: Pupils at Biddick Sports College are helping Vicki Craggs, 16, a corporal in the Houghton Light Infantry Cadet Detachment, to raise funds to take part in the Jungle Adventure Project, a ten-day expedition in Brunei.
TAKE YOUR PARTNERS: Line dancing is held from 7.30pm on Mondays and 8pm on Wednesdays at the Westwood Club, at Columbia. The £1.50 tickets include a free raffle.

MUSIC NIGHTS: The Honest Boy, at Blackfell, holds Buskers Nights every Wednesday.
