Spennymoor start their push for an automatic promotion place at home to Chorley today, writes Ray Simpson.

Moors' midweek win over Lincoln United put them into third place in the table, and now they want to swap a play-off spot for an automatic spot.

Assistant manager Jason Ainsley said: "We've not really clicked into gear yet. We've been winning matches and not really playing very well.

"We have still have a lot of work to do, but we've got 13 games left, and a lot of points to play for."

Moors are six points behind North Ferriby with three games in hand. Defender Michael Robson is missing today because of a two-match ban, which could become five following his dismissal against Lincoln United in midweek.

Bishop Auckland, who are unbeaten in their last four matches, are looking for revenge at home to Guiseley.

The visitors crushed Bishops 7-1 earlier in the season, but the only player from that team likely to feature today is Brian Rowe.

Manager Brian Honour said: "We have a good chance now of getting even further up the table."

Striker Johnny Mann returns to the squad, but defender Paul Moss is still missing because of injury.

In the Premier Division, Whitby welcome back Graeme Robinson and Ben Dixon at leaders Accrington Stanley.
