A LONG-DISTANCE runner will put her best foot forward next month in a bid to raise at least £1,000 charity.
Sarah Gregory, of Parker Drive, Bedale, will run her second London Marathon in April.
She wants to raise as much as possible for The Outward Bound Trust, which organises various outdoor activities for disadvantaged young people.
To encourage people to dig deep, Miss Gregory has secured two draw prizes. The prizes were donated by Thales Merlin and RAF Leeming, where Miss Gregory works for a company called Babcock.
Any person or company donating £10 or more to the Outward Bound Trust will be entered into a draw to win either a trip for one in a Tornado Simulator at RAF Leeming or a framed print of a 100 Squadron Hawk Aircraft.
