Langley Park, who begin The Readers Durham County League programme with a home game against Kimblesworth on April 26, need new players at all levels but particularly for their first and second teams, writes MALCOLM PRATT.
Official David Gladstone confirmed that two sides will be fielded but that the club was short of players.
"We are not alone of course and several clubs are experiencing difficulties but we have lost one or two players during the close season who we need to replace."
Langley Park, who have called a special meeting of players for Thursday, April 3, in the clubhouse at 8.30pm, are holding indoor nets at Sacriston Fyndoune School on Thursdays at 6.30pm.
