Tributes have been paid to Sue Woollhouse, who helped to run Darlington's Nightstop charity, which provides homeless people with accommodation.
Ms Woollhouse died suddenly last week.
The latest edition of the Darlington Council for Voluntary Services newsletter says: "We were very saddened to hear of the tragic and untimely death of Sue Woollhouse. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family."
