TWO men appeared in court yesterday after a house raid in which police recovered drugs said to have a street value of more than £250,000.
Robert Henson, 54, and 35-year-old Dean Ferguson are accused of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
The home of Mr Henson, in Shields Place, Houghton-le-Spring, Wearside, was raided on Wednesday evening.
Mr Henson, and Mr Ferguson, of Steetley Terrace, Quarrington Hill, near Durham, who were arrested at the house, came before magistrates in Peterlee yesterday, when the case was adjourned for a week.
Both were remanded in custody after magistrates rejected a bail application.
