TWO police operations to crack down on youth disorder and vandalism are under way in Durham.
Derwentside Police has launched Operation Counter, in Dipton, and Operation Companion, in South Stanley and South Moor.
Sergeant Andy McConnell, who will run the Dipton operation, said: "This sort of behaviour is unacceptable. We are increasing patrols and are determined to stamp it out."
It follows a recent spate of problems in the village.
