A GROUP of boys have taken part in an activity day to improve their literacy skills.
The youngsters, who are all year ten pupils at Egglescliffe Comprehensive School, in Eaglescliffe, spent yesterday undertaking different tasks based on the TV game show The Crystal Maze.
Each section of the event focused on different topics, including Shakespeare and punctuation.
The event was also organised to help team-building skills and encourage competitiveness.
