THE SPECIALIST cancer nurses at the Friarage Hospital are holding a new monthly drop-in session for patients with cancer and their carers.
The next session will be tomorrow from 10am to noon at the Rutson Hospital, Northallerton High Street.
The nurses will be on hand to provide support and give advice and information and to help people with queries and concerns. There will be monthly guest speakers addressing a variety of subjects.
The meeting tomorrow will include a talk from the Citizens' Advice Bureau, about benefits available to those with cancer, and patients are welcome to drop in and enjoy a tea or coffee and a chat with the nurses and other patients
