CHANGES to Darlington Borough Council's refuse collection service over the Easter period have been announced.
The following list shows the normal collection days, with the revised Easter collection days highlighted in bold type:
Monday, April 14 -now Saturday, April 12; Tuesday, April 15 -now Monday, April 14; Wednesday, April 16 -now Tuesday, April 15; Thursday, April 17 -now Wednesday, April 16; Friday, April 18 -now Thursday, April 17;, Monday, April 21 -now Tuesday, April 22; Tuesday, April 22 -now Wednesday, April 23; Wednesday, April 23-now Thursday, April 24; Thursday, April 24 -now Friday, April 25; Friday, April 25 -now Saturday, April 26.
People are being reminded to ensure refuse is placed at the kerbside, back lane or at the usual collection point on the revised collection date.
The times of collection may vary from normal, and collection in some cases may, due to operational difficulties, not take place until the following day.
Residents are being asked not to report refuse left on the kerbside, back lane or collection point until after 2pm the following working day.
Collections will return to normal on Monday, April 28.
