FIVE male supporters of a Richmond rabbit refuge have put their names down for a "hare-raising" experience.
The team will be having their legs waxed on Sunday to help raise cash for Bunny Burrows.
The painful stunt is just one of the attractions at a Hot Cross Bunny day, which opens at the town's Market Hall at 10am. As well as offering advice on keeping rabbits and guinea pigs, the event includes stalls selling accessories, tea and refreshments - including hot cross buns.
"Everyone has been really supportive," said organiser and Bunny Burrows owner, Gwen Butler.
"Tetleys have donated the tea, Tescos have given us the hot cross buns and the beautician from Expressions on Finkle Street will be doing the leg-waxing. All we need is the public to come along."
