Tyne Tees Girls Youth League - Under-12s - Barnard Castle 4 v 2 Seaton Girls: The home side got off to a good start with goals from girl of the match Danielle Scarr and Stephanie Hutchinson in the first period of play.

The Seaton girls kept their heads well in the second period and scored to keep the pressure on the home side, but Barny managed to sneak a third goal from Danielle Scarr to take the half time score to 3-1. The third period saw a stale mate with no goals scored and some outstanding keeping fron Seatons player of the match Jessica Coates. The final period saw Seaton score first to pull the score back to 3-2 which saw a highly charged game for the final few minutes. Both of the visitors goals came via inspired substitutions, with the scorers being Amy Currell and Amie Wood. The home side made the game safe with a goal from Stacey McKitton from within her own half. A highly entertaining game enjoyed by both sets of supporters and a credit to all players involved.

Marton 4 v 0 Stockton West End

Marton got off to a great start with a goal in the 1st minute from Rebecca Robinson. Fliss Middleton the extended the lead on 10 minutes after some impressive football that had both sets of supporters showing their appreciation. Marton changed their entire attack and midfield for the second period which saw the visitors come more into the game with girl of the match Vicky Hutchinson making some determined runs at the Marton defence but could not create the breakthrough. Sammy Conroy scored Marton's third on 31 minutes after their starting line up returned to the pitch. A minute later girl of the match Fliss Middleton scored her second of the game and Marton's fourth. The final period of play saw no further goals.

Spraire Lasses 3 v 3 M'brough FITC

Spraire ended their league season with a hard earned draw against Middlesbrough. Spraire's girl of the match Laura Gowling opened the scoring on 13 minutes with the visitors pulling level with in seconds of the kick off with a goal from Becky Stephenson who went on to score her hat trick. A further goal from Laura Gowling and one fron Jordan Atkinson completed the scoring for the home side. Girl of the match for the visitors was awarded to Gemma Roper.

Norton & Stockton 2 v 0 St. Francis FC

A very physical game from the start, with immediate pressure from the home side forcing the visitors to defend continually. Norton kept their shape and played some excellent football with the first goal coming from Phillipa Thomas. Norton dominated the game throughout with their second coming from Emily Wilson, thus causing the tension to rise for the visitors. Girl of the match awards went to Rebecca Hole for Norton and Sarah Rowbotham for St. Francis.

Boldon Girls 3 v 1 Wardley Wrens

An under-strength Boldon team were made to fight all the way for the points by a determined Wardley team. Wardley took the lead in the first period of play with a goal from Victoria Hart, and deservedly held onto this untill the second period of play when player of the match Stacey Bonney leveled for the home side. Sarah Bowey then put the home side into the lead and a second goal from Stacey Bonney secured the game for the home side. Player of the match for the visitors went to Emmy Campbell who made several outstanding saves for the visitors. An entertaining game of football with a fine performance frm an improved Wardley side.

Cramlington 2 v 2 Low Fell

An evenly matched game saw Low Fell take the lead in the first period of play, Cramlington then equalised with a strike from Stephanie Crosby. Cramlington dominated much of the 3rd period of play and took the lead ith a great strike from Cara Moran. The final moments of the game saw Low Fell equalise and take a share of the points. The visitors goals were scored by Charlotte Walton and player of the match Morgan Armstrong. Player of the match for Cramlington went to Danielle Hooker.

Under-13s

South Durham Royals 0 v 2 N'castle

Royals entertained Newcastle on Friday evening and although they started well they conceeded two sloppy goals before half time. Newcastle dominated most of the remainder of the game but failed to score any more goals. Goals came from Rachel Ball and player of the match Ruth Sutcliffe. Player of the match for Royals was Chloe MKay.

South Durham Ro. 3 v 0 Lumley Lass.

Royals played their second game in 24 hours and started with confidence, and were rewarded with a goal after ten minutes when Chloe McKay turned the defender and shot past the keeper. Lauren McDonnell took the ball out wide and then took it past the Lumley defence to make it 2-0. Ten minutes later Jennifer Jennings made it 3-0 with a lovely strike. Player of the match awards went to Jennifer Jennings for Royals and Natalie Syson for Lumley.

Under-14s

Boldon 0 v 3 Marton

In an evenly-contested match, Boldon contained the visitors for the first half hour but the Boldon strikers were frustrated by the Marton defence. Both sides played some good football and Marton took the lead just before the break through a bad deflection. In the second half Boldon still couldnt get the breakthrough and Marton scored a second. Boldon stepped up a gear and had three shots in as many minutes but were unable to convert their chances. Marton's third was their best and was scored by Elisha Fry. Marton's other goals came from Scarlett Crow and Rebecca Hanratty. Players of the match were Michaela Carter and Elisha Fry.

St Francis 1 v 0 Spraire Lasses

In a good game, St. Francis took the lead in the fourth minute when Becky Smith caught the Spraire keeper cold. St Francis gave a great performance and the game was played end to end. Players of the match were Becky Smith and Lauren Mather.

Under-18s

Boldon 4 v 2 Lumley Lasses

Boldon started the game slowly but still had the first few chances. Lumley pushed forward but Boldon took the lead through Dani Barker. In the second half Sarah Price broke away twice and put Lumley in the lead. Boldon rallied and two cracking shots from Christina Adamson and Nicole Moody put the game beyond Lumley's reach. This was a great match with some excellent football. Goals came from Christina Adamson (2), Dani Barker and Nicole Moody for Boldon and Sarah Price (2) for Lumley. Players of the match were Christina Adamson and Sarah Price.

Marton 1 v 3 Newcastle

Two early goals from Newcastle got them off to an excellent start. Marton got one back just before half time through Lucy Martin. Marton put Newcastle under pressure but could not break through the Newcastle defence. Newcastle added a third with ten minutes to go. Marton missed a penalty in the last five minutes which would have given this game a grandstand finish. Goals came from Lucy Martin for Marton and Nikki O'Donnell and Amanda Ross (2) for Newcastle. Players of the match were Jenny Duffy and Nikki O'Donnell.
