SUNDERLAND Football Club is offering five youngsters free places on one of its popular football courses.

The club runs courses for children aged from four to 14 during the Easter holidays.

The courses are designed to provide fun and exercise, and teach new skills. Each child attending receives a prize and there are awards for special achievement.

Bob Oates, Sunderland FC's community development officer, said: "Our courses are a great way for both boys and girls to do something different during the holidays.

"The club's qualified coaching staff will help to make the courses both enjoyable and rewarding and are in a professional and safe environment."

Two-day courses normally cost £12 per person, The club's 24/7 members will receive a £2 discount.

The club has five free places for its course at Sedgefield Community College, which will be taking place on April 22 and 23.

The competition closes at 5pm on Thursday and the places will go to the first five callers who give the correct answer.
