CHILDREN have the chance to clown around and get fit at the same time during a family fun run next month.
The run and fun day for all the family has been organised by Sure Start for Sunday, May 18, from 11am to 3pm.
Jan Croudace of Sure Start donned her clown's outfit to get the message across to children from Roseberry Square Youth and Community Centre playgroup in Redcar.
The main event of the day will be a two-mile fun run from midday with every finisher guaranteed a T-shirt and medal. Other activities include circus skills, soft play, sports taster sessions and a nature trail.
Entry to the Fun Run is £2 a child, while Sure Start is offering a special price of 50p per child or a £1 family ticket for a maximum of four children. For more information contact Sure Start on (01642) 485538.
