WALKERS are needed to put their best foot forward for charity.
The Derwent Walk takes place on Sunday, May 11. The ten-mile event starts in Blackhill, Consett at 11am and takes participants along the Derwent Valley to Blaydon, on Tyneside.
The Stanley fundraising committee of Cancer Research UK is appealing for sponsored walkers to raise cash.
Last year, 150 people took part and raised £5,000.
