SESSIONS aimed at helping people to stop smoking have proved a great success.
The Newton Aycliffe Smoking Cessation Group has supported 95 people to give up the habit this year.
The group meets in the Pioneering Care Centre, in the town's Cobblers Hall area, on Tuesdays, from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Smoke cessation worker Annie Pluse said: "Why not join a friendly, supporting group of people who are all trying to kick the habit and quit for life."
