HOLIDAY EXTRAS: A jumble sale at the Elite Hall, Crook, on Saturday raised £650 which will go towards providing better holidays for people with learning disabilities who attend the Wear Valley Centre in Crook.

The winning numbers in the raffle were: yellow 28, 70, 115, 146, 198; white: 93, 117, 122, 189, 208, 251, 254; blue: 79, 237, 318, 374, 450, 472, 629, 638, 672; red: 122, 164, 227, 245, 312, 629.

Admission ticket winners were: blue 764 and 873.

FOOTBALL FANS: The Crook and District branch of the Sunderland Supporters' Association will hold its annual meeting tonight, at 8pm, in the Coach and Horses Pub, Crook.

FAMILY FUN: A family fun day will be held at the Royal Sun Pub, Crook, next Monday.

Entertainment will include a bucking bronco from 2pm to 5pm, sumo wrestling from 3pm to 8pm, cowboys and indians fancy dress, finishing with a disco from 7pm to 11pm.

Children will only be allowed at the event from 11am to 6pm.

PLAY PALS: The Glenholme Youth and Community Centre, in New Road, Crook, has started holding Play Pals sessions for children up to five, every Monday and Wednesday, from 9.30am to 11.30am.

EASTER RAFFLE: Parklands Residential Home, in Crook, raised £92 with an Easter Raffle.
