SEARCH teams have found the body of a missing mother.
The body of 35-year-old Sarah Ann Linklater was discovered in dense undergrowth in secluded woodland near Pittington, County Durham - the village where she was last seen after visiting a friend's house on Monday.
A search of the area had been launched involving two dozen volunteers from Teesdale and Weardale Search, Rescue and Cleveland Search and Rescue, mounted officers from Cleveland Police and a police spotter plane.
It was one of the volunteers who found her body early on Thursday evening, it was revealed yesterday.
Police are satisfied there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
An inquest is expected to be opened next week into the cause of the death of Ms Linklater, who lived in Cumberland Road, Middlesbrough.
