Crook League: Crook Belle Vue went down to their first defeat of the season when they visited Crook Travellers Rest B and lost by the odd point.

The Travellers had singles wins from Jimmy Singlewood, Doug Bowey, Peter Coates and Bill Fairhurst, whilst the Club had singles wins from Jack Walker and John Warriner to add to the doubles won by Dave Hakin and Paul Morgan.

Despite the defeat, Crook Belle Vue still lead the First Division by three points, with Crook Mill House closing the gap to three points, whilst holding a four points lead over Crook Royal Sun and Crook Coach and Horses A, who share third place.

Hunwick Club went into a six points lead at the top of the Second Division when they only dropped one point to the visiting Crook Golden Fleece A. Crook King's Head moved one point ahead of Willington Brewer's Droop, but the Droop have a match in hand.
