POP stars from Will Young to the Village People will be brought to life in a special tribute concert this week.
The Stars in Your Eyes-style show, organised by Moveable Feast Arts of South Moor, near Stanley, will star dozens of contestants, including some with learning disabilities.
The performers, aged from seven to 70, are competing for prizes in four categories of the annual talent contest; best singer, best group, best look-alike and best overall performer. The audience gets to vote for their favourite act.
The concert takes place in the Lamplight Arts Centre, Stanley, this Friday, at 7pm. Tickets are available from the box office on (01207) 218899.
