To celebrate its 70th birthday, the Friends of Durham Cathedral hold an evening of music and readings at the cathedral on Friday, June 6, at 7.30pm.
Those appearing include opera singer Sir Thomas Allen and agony aunt Denise Robertson. Tickets are £12.50 and £20, available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Friends of Durham Cathedral, The College, Durham DH1 3EH.
