CHILDREN'S favourites Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten and Spot the Dog joined in the bank holiday fun at Ormesby Hall, in Middlesbrough, yesterday.
They helped with activities organised for children, which included garden trails, a colouring competition, an egg-and-spoon race and a three-legged race.
Ian Brockbank, Ormesby Hall house manager, said: "Peter, Tom and Spot are regular visitors to the hall and they tell me they enjoy the fun so much they always look forward to coming.
"This year they joined hundreds of children in the carrot relay, bunny hop and other races, as well as helping the magician."
