Crook League: Crook Queen's A recorded the best away win in the First Division when they came away from Crook Jelly's Bar A with a three points success. Jelly's had singles wins from Keith Dixon and Norman Jones, whilst the Queen's singles points came from Peter Genner, Phil Hall, John Howarth and Tommy Longstaff with Doug Smailes and Peter Genner adding the doubles.

Willington Brewer's Droop went one better in recording the best away win in the Second Division for they only dropped one point at Crook Surtees, who had Dickie Allison as their only winner. The Brewer's singles winners were Jimmy Fleming, Brian Fleming, Darren Fleming, Ian Stoker and Vince Conaty with Billy Wragg and Vince Conaty adding the doubles.

Crook Belle Vue moved seven points clear at the top of the First Division with the Royal Sun and the Mill House sharing second place, three points ahead of Willington Market and the Coach and Horses A.

Hunwick Club and the Brewer's Droop share the Second Division top spot with a four points advantage over the King's Head, who are four points ahead of the Coach and Horses B.

Willington Black Horse Tavern took the Championship after a play-off with Willington Black Horse Inn. The trophy presentation will take place on Monday, June 30.

Tow Law & District League

Tow Law Station were able to command a share of the top place in the table when they came through to beat the visiting Hamilton Row Black Horse by the odd point. Christopher Reed, Neil Morrallee and Steven Maughan won for the Station with Alan Taylor and John Christalow.

Tow Law New Market A share the top spot after they won by the odd point at Tow Law Football Club. The footballers had wins from Billy Lyle and Keith Muse, whilst Phil Hall, Ian Turner and Dale Duxfield took the visitors to victory.

Tow Law New Market B make up the trio sharing first place after they beat the visiting Sunniside Comedian by the odd point. Gavin Tennant, Tom Hauxwell and John Beveridge took the points for the home side, whilst Morgan Errington and John Conely replied for the Comedian.
