Readers Durham County League - Under-18s: Chris Pearath was again in form as was Ryan Nicholson when Evenwood produced a match winning innings of 147 for two in their home game with Bishop Auckland.

Pearath added 56 and Nicholson 40 to the Evenwood total of 147 for two before Bishop Auckland were restricted to 105 for six which included 34 not out by Hamish Dissanayake. Lee Foster bowled well for Evenwood picking up three wickets for just 27 runs assisting his side to a 42 runs victory.

Willington had 49 runs in hand of Tudhoe who they dismissed for 65 as Lee Tinkler took three wickets for ten runs, Chris Moore three for 18 and Richie Stuck two for 15.

Tudhoe found Chris Moore also in form with the bat when Willington made first use of the wicket. He ended unbeaten on 62 despite Chris Glasper returning figures of two for 18 and Harry Collinwood two for 40.

Mainsforth hosted Etherley and won by five wickets. when they batted first, the visitors produced a total of 102 for three which included 27 apiece by Carl McGregor and Lyle. Darren Pattison claimed two of the three wickets to go down for just 20 runs before Mainsforth responded with 103 for five which included 42 not out by Stephen Sweeney, 22 from Ian Thompson and 20 by Nicholas Pattison. Carl Renshaw had a good night with the ball for Etherley, returning the outstanding figures of three for five and Raine took the other two wickets at a cost of 23 runs.

Although they managed only 89 for eight, Ushaw Moor had 44 runs to spare over Crook Town who they dismissed for just 45. Craig Usher had figures of three for 14, Scott Metcalfe two for ten and Darren Gill two for eight.

Batting first, Ushaw Moor were indebted to Nattrass for his top scoring 32 whilst for Crook Chris Guy had three for 12 and Fawcett two for 23.
