ATTRACTION puts her 100 per cent unbeaten record on the line at Newmarket this afternoon following a quartet of breathtaking victories cumulating with a runaway success at Royal Ascot in last month's Queen Mary Stakes.

Mark Johnston's flying filly is understandably hot favourite for the Group 2 Cherry Hinton Stakes and according to her superiority in the official ratings she's already home and hosed.

"Normally we would give a horse such as Attraction a rest after Ascot, but she's very fresh and in unbelievable form," reported Johnston.

As things stand the new trip of six furlongs seems to be the only factor that could conceivably bring about Attraction's downfall given all of her winning to date has been over the minimum distance.

However, she hasn't been stopping at the end of races so if the Middleham-based two-year-old were to be unexpectedly defeated it would have to be regarded as a major shock.

Johnston is also represented by Bandari and Zindabad in the following Princess of Wales's Stakes, although that hugely talented duo are not likely to get things their own way given the strength of the opposition.

Also in the line-up is the winner from 12 months ago, Millenary, plus the newly-installed St Leger favourite, High Accolade, and last but not least, Tim Easterby's Bollin Eric (3.25).

Easterby's 2002 St Leger hero lost nothing in defeat at Royal Ascot where in pulsating finale to the "Hardwicke" he was nailed in the shadow of the post by Indian Creek.

Bollin Eric's Group 1 penalty is always going to be his Achilles heel, none the less even the extra 5lb he must concede to his rivals may not be sufficient to stop him marching triumphantly back into the winners' enclosure.

Slightly earlier on in proceedings Dazzling Bay (2.15) might easily initiate a double for the Easterby camp in the £60,000 Tote Exacta Showcase Handicap.

Arguably the most improved sprinter currently in training, Dazzling Bay has been raised a massive 27lb as a result of three spectacular wins. They say that truth is stranger than fiction and Dazzling Bay's un-scripted antics when swerving violently right and still winning by four lengths on the bridle at York was nothing short of miraculous.

Clearly something of a quirky character, the three-year-old has already been installed as favourite for the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood and if he is to justify that lofty position must win with authority.

The David Nicholls' yard has been not been firing on all cylinders over the past three weeks, nevertheless he's far too good a trainer to kept on the sidelines for long hence the confidence behind Time To Remember (3.40), bound for the St Giles Handicap at Pontefract.

Time To Remember has been a good friend to this column in the past, most notably when landing a 25-1 nap at Redcar just under two years ago. He bounced back to something like his best on the Knavesmire last time out and to my way of thinking will be even better suited by Pontefract's predominately uphill course.
