Norton & Stockton Ancients Under-9s enjoyed success on Sunday when winning the Hartburn Tournament.
Norton were unbeaten in the group stages with the highlight being an 8-0 win against Hartburn Panthers with four goals in the first half from Nathun Mohan.
Norton progressed to the semi final and were drawn against Brinkburn winning a close game 2-0 with both goals scored by Nathun Mohan.
The final game was against the hosts Hartburn. Norton winning 2-0 after extra time. The first goal came after good play by Matthew Johnson who set Mathew Garbutt through for a tremendous opener, this was bettered as Garbutt scored a great solo second goal with a long range low drive into the bottom corner of the net - a goal worthy of winning any game.
Norton & Stockton Ancients extend thanks for a good day to the Hartburn coaches.
