Foster's Tyneside Senior League - Under-18s: Stephen Smith was again in splendid form for Lintz in their game at Consett.
He ended undefeated on 72 as Lintz realised 122 before restricting the Steelmen to 51 for eight. Nathan Clennell had three wickets for 11 runs and Richard Moody three for eight.
At Crookhall, Burnopfield won losing six of their wickets when they were required to score 68 runs. David Richardson caused problems for the visitors' batsmen as he captured three wickets for 12 runs in five overs. Batting first Crookhall were all out for 67 which included a top scoring 21 by Kevin Telford. Tinnion was the top wicket taker of the game and he returned the magnificent figures of five wickets for ten runs in five overs, while Young took three for 16 in three overs and Allen two for two from one over he sent down in the Burnopfield attack.
Aaron Leathley led Annfield Plain to a nine wickets win at Greenside when he finished with 48 not out in a total of 92 for one. Andrew Britton (30) and Witton (32no) top performed when Greenside ended on 91.
Lanchester were ten wickets winners at home to Whickham and Ian Stewart was undoubtedly man of the match. He hit a marvellous unbeaten 80 out of the Lanchester total of 100 without loss after Whickham, batting first, made 96 for seven which included 28 by Beaumont and 26 from Booth.
After restricting Chopwell to 65, Sacriston won easily losing one wicket as Burke scored 32, while Blaydon comfortably had the better of Ryton. Stephen Marsh was unbeaten on 78 and Chris Maughan added 42 to the Blaydon total of 132 for two. Responding Ryton managed only 49 as Jamie Thompson took three wickets for two runs and Chris Maughan three for ten.
Swalwell had 29 runs in hand of Shotley Bridge. Gray carried his bat for 46 in the Swalwell total of 127 for three and although John Stokoe added 43, Shotley Bridge were pegged to 98 for seven when they replied.
